This is to inform you that Quartesian is closely tracking the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic outbreak and our leadership team has made strategic contingency plans in accordance with global public health authorities to help ensure the health and welfare of all our employees.
As a precautionary measure, we have invoked our Business Continuity Plan (BCP) globally for all our offices and have advised all our employees and contractors to work remotely until further notice, to ensure a healthy, safe, and secure work environment, while maintaining our high level of commitment to service to our clients. Our IT infrastructure in cloud environment is secured and capable of supporting remote work with proper audit trails and monitoring.
We have internally identified a BCP committee who are meeting daily to discuss updates from call tree results, alternate communication methods, ongoing project and other additional topics to ensure there is no disruption to regular business operations. Our internal Executive Management Committee is continually monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and working closely with the BCP Committee to expedite management decision-making process and provide updates to our esteemed clients.
All Business travels and face-to-face meetings have been suspended temporarily, until further notice.
Continuous communications are being sent out by our Human Resource teams to provide guidance to staff on the disease containment and tips on controlling infection from this Novel virus. Adequate resource backups and task transitioning activities are in place as per the business impact analysis in the event someone gets affected.
Currently there is no impact on our project deliverables. Scheduled activities will continue as usual and all deliverables will be submitted as per committed timelines with the highest levels of quality. We will continue monitoring the circumstances and our project team will promptly communicate with clients as necessary, in case of any new developments or any changes in our operations which may impact deliverables. We would also like our clients and vendors to proactively and diligently communicate with us, with our Project Managers and with our POC (point-of-contacts) should there be any break in the workflow or business disruption at their end.
On behalf of the entire Quartesian Executive Board, as the BCP Committee Chair and a member of Quartesian Executive Committee I would like to ensure our continued commitment to high quality service delivery.
Lastly, our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the illness. Let us all combat this novel virus and support each other as a global community during these challenging times.
